Finally got to go biking and photographing today! Decided to head over to the East Village, since I realized I’ve really only gone to St. Mark’s Place and Buffalo Exchange in that area. Never been to Alphabet City or anything else. So today I looped around the East Village taking photos and stopped at weird sidewalk sales and listened to some Spanish band celebrating Oktoberfest (cultural blending much?) and searching through various vintage clothing stores to no avail. Pretty cool area, but not my favorite. Still torn between Upper West Side and Chelsea.

It’s strange because I was thinking along these lines just last night and then I saw this!
At first I was skeptical. The first two seconds of it had me scared that they were about to make a classic a bit less awesome. I shouldn’t have ever doubted the glory of Glee, because HOLY CRAP. And when whats-her-name belts it out toward the end, my soul weeps with joy. 45 minutes to the end episode. I look forward to seeing what other freakin’ masterpieces this show produces!
Ok so I wasn’t really big into Taylor Swift and Dehui said I would like her but i was like “Mehhh she’s mainstream meeehhhh” and then I started listening to her and I was like “Oh ok she’s cool!” and then the Kanye thing happened and I was like, “Oh man, now I like her even more!” and then I watched this video because it was recommended on Youtube for me and I was like, “HOLY CRAP SHE’S ADORABLE.” I love musicians who are genuine and aren’t jaded by media attention. Too many musicians get so full of themselves and expect awards and attention, but she’s just so happy in this video! It’s so great! Ok that’s it for my Taylor Swift gush-athon.
